#tide ocean material is a recycled resource from ocean-bound plastic, repurposed to create eco-friendly items for new sustainable products. Our global supply chain is driven by a commitment to social impact.

Tide Ocean SA is a company founded in 2019 with headquarters in Switzerland and offices in Thailand, Hong Kong and Mexico. In collaboration with the Swiss University of Applied Sciences, #tide has found a mechanical solution to transform plastic waste into a premium raw material made of 100% ocean-bound plastic. #tide ocean material comes in the form of granules which are used for injection or blow moulding, textiles, or filaments.

#tide ocean material stands for quality and traceability. In its first years, more than 80 brands have launched 150+ products. The award-winning material is used in industries such as watchmaking, electronics, fashion, interior design or automotive.

#tide® works together with social enterprises in Southeast Asia and Mexico to collect plastic waste on islands and along coastlines that threatens to end up in our oceans. The goal is to improve the quality of life for underprivileged communities through employment opportunities, social services, and educational programs, and to support sea turtle conservation projects.
